Tell us a little about yourself (not the cats)
Adore all animals - especially cats - mine are rescues or strays - am a single mom - have one son, 19 - and I work with developmentally disabled adults.

Why did you join the site?
plain & simple - it helps cats!!! I can't take in anymore (where I live has a limit) but that doesn't mean I still can't help in some way.

they are the best - loveable and quite entertaining. I also find them quite therapeutic as well.
Do you rescue or foster cats?
I used to until I was informed I had to get rid of one of mine since I was over the alloted amount. Fortunately, I was able to give her to my parents so she is still part of the family.
Do you Transport cats?
I haven't but would be willing too

I will be MIA for a while

Hi Everyone,

I wasn't sure how to get the word out to all those that needed to know - so I thought I'd make a blog

A few weeks back I was cleaning out my storage room and discovered a wet floor and one thing led to another and lo and behold - my roof is leaking. I am in the process of getting quotes for a new roof or seeing if it's a leak that can just be repaired.

Once the roof is fixed, I can start in on putting up the new insulation, wall and floor. I'll be doing this part myself as a way… Continue
